affordable lcd tv for local cable viewing

i am planning to buy 24 inch lcd tv with good sound for viewing local cable so picture should not get distorted is a must.please help with detail.

If you are planning a 24 inch lcd with local cable, then you need to think again.

Firstly you won't be getting a widescreen signal so image is stretched and noise levels are high in a local cable.

I suggest go for a dth while getting the tv.
