ur pc has been infected with WORM_RBOT.AAP (WIN32FIX.EXE)

uininstall ur DAP and use another downloader. there r several good spyware-free ones avlbl.

disable DCOM :
1. Start Registry Editor.
2. Locate the following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\OLE
3. Change the EnableDCOM string value to N.
4. Restart the operating system for the changes to take effect.

also disable messenger service

else use these 2 utilities DCOMbobulator & Shoot The Messenger to do so from here *www.grc.com/default.htm

THEN use ANY 2 of the following anti-spy to remove the infections. scan in SAFE MODE : adaware, ewido, spybot.

addl info here *www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=WORM_RBOT.AAP&VSect=Sn
