Use Windows Defender to solve your problems. It offers highest protection against Spware and Malware. It is available for free download for Genuine Windows XP customers.

ur pc has been infected with WORM_RBOT.AAP (WIN32FIX.EXE)

uininstall ur DAP and use another downloader. there r several good spyware-free ones avlbl.

    disable DCOM :
    1. Start Registry Editor.
    2. Locate the following path:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\OLE
    3. Change the EnableDCOM string value to N.
    4. Restart the operating system for the changes to take effect.

    also disable messenger service

else use these 2 utilities DCOMbobulator & Shoot The Messenger to do so from here http://www.grc.com/default.htm

THEN use ANY 2 of the following anti-spy to remove the infections. scan in SAFE MODE : adaware, ewido, spybot.

    addl info here http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=WORM_RBOT.AAP&VSect=Sn
