Now you won't have to use an alternative to explorer just to get the tab function.
Freeware application QT TabBar adds a lot of useful functionality to Windows Explorer, most notably a tabbed interface. QT TabBar offers a lot of other small tweaks, like the drop-down preview you see in the screenshot and few toolbar buttons that add entries like "Recently Closed" or favorites. It's a little peculiar to set up, so be sure to check out the Manual.html file in the download for install instructions.
