acer under warranty netbook's faulty LCD replacement problem

guys I bought acer d260 netbook on 20-7-2010 from the authorized dealer of acer.after using the netbook for one month now i am getting some lines in the display.i registered the complaint in their costumer care on 24-8-2010 and gave it to service center but after waiting for 2 weeks they didn't replaced it and they told me to take the laptop with me and they will call me when they get the part and again after two weeks they called me and told me that they got the part.so,i went their and after some time the service guy told me tht the lcd they have sent is incompatible with my netbook so i came back but now more than 2 months are over,still they didn't changed the part and when every time i call customer care they will tell me that they don't have the part and they will change it within ten days but they won't change.like this more than two months are over.i don't know what to do?please help me guys.thank you.

looks like they are taking ages to repair this - backup all the data from your netbook and delete any personal info using shredder app.

Send a mail to the acer technical support, describe the whole situation and ask them to replace the whole netbook.

yep go with total replacement, push on them (otherwise they will break the panel and say it is physical damage LOL that was a pun but seriously they can do that).

take screenshot of your netbook display when on as a proof that there is no physical damage.

they are NO. 1 F...Kers in india.is there any sign of replacement?.and about acer they also extended my warranty by 3 months.

That's great - I think acer knows how to please a customer after that much delay and that's why they have extended the warranty.

No - there's no sign of any kind of replacement - I'm going to take that card back.

yep, I've thought of adding that but I hate their name so much that it's kinda hard "as of now" to add this but in the future I may add this.

Why not have Digit have a chat with Acer mgmt and report concerns on Rashi. I remember them helping out for consumers with support issues etc.

why you have taken the name of acer?they already replaced my lcd and also extended my warranty by 3 months.i came to know something that acer customer care is a bunch of F...Kers sitting there and they won't be having any details about these warranty,repair issues and they also don't have any rights to interfere in these matter but they still mislead the people who calls them by telling them different reasons.

@ desiibond - I think you are litle bit confused about acer and rashi. Acer has not recruited Rashi as a dealer.

I wrote about Rashi in here just to let him know the status of the gfx card issue and he commented about that.
