I have MSI RS480M2-IL motherboard.
It has 64 MB onboad AGP.

But i saw the website below,

In there they mensioned, On-board Graphic shared up to 128MB.

What is this?

Please tell me something about this.

It means that u can share upto 128 MB from the system RAM. Even 64 MB means it WILL take 64 MB from the system RAM! Overall, the M/B seems good! But i personally prefer nVidia Chipsets!

In the BIOS you can extend the shareble memory upto to 128MB RAM this will be deducted from Existing Memory.By Default it will be 64MB

In the BIOS I extend the shareble memory to 128MB RAM.

Thanks for information.

But there is no major difference with this change.

I have Transcend 512MB DDR RAM. (PC-3200, 400FSB)
After I change the memory to 128 MB RAM, in Task manager PF Usage(in Performence tab) shows 144 MB only. Is this enough for my system to performence good.

(or)
Is there any problem will come with this Memory change?
Like system will become over heat or system performence will slow...

Hmm... The ammount of RAM available to the system should be shown in system properties, not task manager!

Right click on my computer and selest properties, in the end it will show u the ammount of ram available to the system.

If u r not an avid gamer, i would suggest u switch back to 64 MB of video RAM!

In applications that do not need high graphics performance such as word processing, internet, playing movies, etc., you will not notice any difference whether the shared video RAM is 128MB, 64MB or 32MB.

Even for gaming, only the most demanding games will show a major difference between 64MB and 128MB.

No.

You have a total of 512MB. Previously you used 64MB for graphics, leaving 448MB for the rest of the system. By increasing the shared video memory from 64 to 128MB, you have reduced the amount of system memory from 448MB to 384MB.

Theoretically, reducing system memory will slow down performance slightly. But in most cases the difference will be very small. It will certainly not cause overheating.
