About Hibernating in desktop pc's

Dear Friends,
I have Windows XP SP2 installed in my desktop PC. If I "Hibernate" everytime without shutdowning, what will happen. Is this create problems to my PC hardware(bcoz hibernating is mostly used in laptops). Plezzz help me...

Nothing will go wrong buddy ... u can safely hibernate ur pc every time. Just that when u install new hardware/software do perform a shut down n reboot.

Hello,

No Hibernation is a perfectly safe feature and will cause no harm to the hardware.


But it is good to restart the comp once every about 8-12 hibernations because then I find the comp too sluggish to use.
