If you are thinking of Macbook then I would like to tell you one thing that it is not for gamming.
So you have to choose between one,gaming or macbook.
Anyways is a great laptop and using it is a different experience,it has also some limitations.
And if you wanna go for gaming then go for Dell XPS with FHD display and blue ray combo.
But I wanna ask you one question why you dislike Asus?
It has got great laptops whose performance and build quality is very good.So if you are comfortable with Asus laptops then check out Asus N55SF also.
And you can consider this also Sony VAIO C-Series VPCCB38FN
So you have to choose between one,gaming or macbook.
