98 after xP????????

hi have xp pro installed.i wanted to install 98 after it...
booted from dos but when i ran setup.exe of my 98 installer it said that ''u have some cache-disk utility installed. remove it
& then try...''
plz help me & also how to install 98 after xp....

Well ... windows 98 can be installed only on a FAT32 partition, while XP uses NTFS partitions. In XP, format a partition of your hard drive as FAT32, and then install 98 on it.

follow ujjwal if u want both o/s together on different partitions. if u want only 98 and no winxp, u hav to reformat.

if u installed xp over win98 earlier, go to control panel and add/remove progs. there will b the option of uninstallin win xp (if the backup files habe not been deleted)
