5 HDD Partitions in Vista

Hello
Kindly help me with these 2 problems.
  • I was trying to make 5 partitions of my 250 GB HDD. Vista Home Premium is my OS on my Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop. I am not able to make more than 3 partitions while installing the OS. There is one 70MB partition already there for which I am not getting any options to make changes. I was told that Windows does not supports more than 4 partitions. Is there any way by which I can make 5 partiotions of 50GB each.
  • Also the 250GB HDD is showing 232 GB available space. Where has the rest of the 18GB gone.
Thanks

There is an inbuilt option in Vista for Partitioning...right click in My Computer in start menu and search for a while and u will get it..

Backup Image Software ??????

Hello

Which software should I use for backing up my primary OS partition.
Any open source software or freeware which may be useful.
While searching on the net I came through various softwares like Amanda, Easeus Backup etc etc. Which one is better?

My system has 250 GB HDD, primary partition 40GB, NTFS, Vista Home Premium in Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop.

Thanks,
