XP Myths - Myths Regarding Windows XP

People say do this, do that to improve performance of Windows XP. But are they only myths or do they really make a considerable difference in performance?

Below listed some XP Myths:

1. Myth - "Windows XP requires a high end PC to install and run."
2. Myth - "You cannot run DOS games on Windows XP."
3. Myth - "NTFS is not compatible with games."
4. Myth - "Windows 95/98/ME is as reliable as XP."
5. Myth - "Enabling AlwaysUnloadDLL frees up more memory and improves performance."
