yes but some companies don't allow same plan to be used in both mobile & 3g usb modem.there is a kind of broadcast signal by any mobile 3g device which can establish whether the sim card is active in a phone or some usb modem & telecom companies use this information to restrict certain plans from being used in 3g usb modems.you can either call customer care or check official website of that telecom to know which plans are not allowed & which are allowed in 3g usb modems.
