Internet, MS Office, Movies, Songs, etc. More for traveling since i already have a desktop at home.

Looking at good after sales support (Again.. heard that dell's support is very good, sony is very costly and HP not so good)
Good battery life would be a great add-on since I will use it mostly while traveling.
Havent had much reviews about Asus (one being recommended in a similar thread). though open to buying that also.
Would not want to spend much since actual usage will be less and life of laptop is limited.
General config I am looking at is : 2nd gen Core i3 + 4gb ram. if higher processor available, nothing like it. not much touch about hard disc but 500gb 7200 rpm will be good.
I am open to buying online also. actually the 3 EMI option (with 0 processing fee) on flipkart is quite attractive
