$100 laptop gets its first production run

The One Laptop per Child initiative, short OLPC, has completed a busy week that included a test production run of the notebook as well as a first public showing in the heart of Silicon Valley.

yeah nice info.. heard abt it before but thought they were gone.. glad to see they are really working on something like this. Would be nice to get my hands on a couple of these babies

Very nice design and not sure about the capabilities.. but im sure it suits a school child , think that's what the company got in mind. Would like that for my 11 yr old nephew now. He would be soo happy
