thumbnails

*www.techslash.com/sweetgirl.jpg View this image. Then save this image to any of your folders and select view thumbnails...Can anyone crack the mystery behind it?

In My PC(Win XP), in a folder(customized as best for pictures) when i click on thumbnails view,cant see any photo in the thumbnails, just icon is seen in thumbnail(eg. jpeg,gif....etc icons.)

accidently deleted the .ico file extension from folder options, now i can't see the thumbnails of these icons. Please help me restore it so that i would be able to see the thumbnail of icon files. Tried X-Setup, TweakUI and hacked into registry a little bit. Nothing helped. Using windows 98SE
