shut-down

Hey everyone, I wanted to buy a UPS to provide power back-up to my PC for only a few minutes in case of power failure to enable smooth system shut-down. Which one should I go for. Regarding my rigs power draw, please refer my siggy.. Thanks in Advance, sid_gamer

Is there any way I can get my vista notebook to startup at a specified time? I could find many applications on the web that allow a user to schedule a Windows shut-down, but not one that can get the system to start up on its own. Any clues, or am i just asking a silly question?:???::?:

From few days, I don't get Shutdown Buttons when I hit shut-down on my WinXp, instead I get a dialog-box. And when I press Ctrl+Alt+Del, a dialog-box appears with options Lock Computer, Log-off, shut-down, Change password, task Manager and Cancel. How to get rid of that...please help me...
