Whenever I jump on pole it happens- Please Help ME

Hey, My friend has Prince of persia : Sands of Time installed on my PC and he has a problem with it ... So i told him to come and clarify with the forum but the forum said " Registration is tem closed " So i am posting instead of him ! 8-) Details : ERROR :

guys in the prince of persia forgotten sands' stables part after we talk to malik we have to cross the pole to other side. but when i jump on the pole, the screen becomes blank with stars and prince in between!!. whats this happening? can somebody help?:? thanks

i have an IBM THINKCENTRE A51... with 512 mb ram and probably 864/915 chipset....no extra graphics card ...only inbuilt agp acceleration.... so will sands of time work..... whch is the cheapest card i can get to run sands of time?
