I am using Windows XP Pro SP2. Nd I hav turned the automatic updates OFF, but then at evry startup, it shows a msg that ur computer might b at risk and an RED Icon always present there. How can i remove that?

hello, i do not have an original windows xp os. once, i downloaded some updates from the microsoft website(which was stupid). automatically i got a star shaped icon at the right end of the taskbar indicating "Your system may be at risk". I find it there everytime I switch on my system...
