We have a lot of PC's in the n/w for different users. The anti-virus etc are programmed to be updated during night. Now there is a thought that if we go for hibernation , we can save a significant amount of power.
There is a view that if a machine is infested and switched on later...
Me and my frnd have laps, both running on XP.
The first one is dell 1420, and other one is HCL AXOP 2802
The config of both system are as follows

Intel wireless device,XP professional SP3

Hii I m Using Win XP SP-3 on Intel Dual Core 2.80 Ghz,Intel D102GGC2 and 1 GB 533 MHz...My system has Onboard N/w card...but now it's not detected....So i bought another N/W card and connected it in PCI Slot but no use...my system doesn't recognises it....What should i do now...can anyone pls...

mine pc is connected 2 100mbps lan n whenever i start my pc with n/w enable then all applications becomes slower, however when i disable n/w evrything becomes normal ..........
anybody having sloutions plz reply back soon.....

i setup an home n/w and the os is win 98se.i have an cable internet connection(100 mbps) on one computer and how i can share this net connection for the other one.
