integrity

I ordered 25 kubuntu disks frm shipit to distribute in my school which i got two days back but all the disks r showing crc error during loading of kernel during booting.i checked the disks integrity and found all of them r having 7 files damaged.what to do now? plz suggest

I downloaded version 5.1.1 of Knoppix . But accidentally deleted the file using Shift+Del . After that I recovered it using PC Inspector and burnt it on a CD. Now when I use this bootable CD then it doesn't load the final GUI rather it gives an error in the midst and gets stuck in the command...

is there a way we can check the integrity of system files in Windows XP as we can use System file checker in Win 98 or through any 3rd party utilities.
