hda

This is a problem I'm struggling from many months. No sound from hda sound card. I have tried alsa hda 1.0.23 and 1.0.24. No use. In my case the motherboard integrated chip is VIA VT1708S Can somebody please help.:-(:sad:

I was recently installing Fedora Core 5, and got this error after the anaconda starts to install after getting the language options. It says that the hda is not initialised. then asks if it shud delete all data
