    Before I get into my problem, a little background, have a Dell 1520, 160GB HDD, of which 130 GB is allocated as NTFS in 2 drives, 115GB as C, and rest as E.(D is for DVD RW) the remaining 18GB is allocated to openSUSE, with 2GB swap, and rest 16 GB as a LVM, with /boot, / and /home as the LV's...

    Recovering my /boot partition

    Guys, I did the unthinkable. I have dual boot XP & FC5. While on Windows, I opened disk management & deleted my /boot folder not realizing what it was . Now FC5 is unbootable. Any bright ideas on what I can o to recover it?. Maybe I can create a new partition & somehow format it in ext3...

    Help! XP doesn't boot

    I recently installed SuSE Linux 9.1 on my machine. I installed it on three new partitions: /boot, / and swap. I installed GRUB on the /boot partition. But now when I start the PC, when it comes to booting, it says "Missing Operating System". What can be the problem? Please help me!!
