    Hi all,

    My distro is Fedora Core 1 with kernel 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl
    while making bzImage during its final stage it gives the following error

    kernel.o(0xfc3) .. I function schedule() undefined reference to active_load_balance
    Error 2
    aborting ...

    and it gets out .. whats wrong ... while makeing xconfig ..i`ve loaded the previous config file from /boot and added support to ntfs file partition . thatz the only change that i have made when comparing with the old file ... is that wrong ...? y it happens like that

    If it gets compiled nicely then it shouldn't cause any trouble while making images.... did you try to make a GzImage instead ? what file from /boot are you referring to ?

    btw: check out firewall's site , that's a good article on kernel compilation...
