small aluminium foil(silver coating) on side of hdd came off
guys....i bought a new seagate 120gb harddisk but on inserting the drive in the drive bay it was tight so i pushed a bit and the small aluminium foil(silver coating) on side of harddisk came of a bit...now i can slightly see a small hole. so i called the seagate guys and the told me the warranty...- cc801

i wanted to know if i can install a 160gb normal ata(not sata or pata) harddisk on a p3 system which has intel d815eea motherboard. yes i have updated the bios to the latest(it was released in 2001), i also have intel application accelerator installed. i am yet to buy this harddisk, so please...- cc801
