i've just got a va712. 8ms response time, no dvi. i read, i think at cnet, that dvi is not much of an issue as the coversion from analog to digital tech is pretty good. viewsonic does have a screen with dvi input vp and the vx series i think. you could look up techtree.com. and i think 8ms tr/tf...

va712 rocks. i've spent yesterday playing aoe, call of duty, watching movies and tv. performance is nothing short of super.

the vx724 retails at 18000 and the 3ms is gray to gray. the va712 retails at 14000 and has a 8ms tr/tf response time. i'am told, and i belive, viewsonic is a better brand. my experience with samsung has'nt been very good. HCL provides the support for viewsonic here. i guess iam going to go...

yep. i used nero 5.5 to burn the image to the cd.

the comp does'nt boot from the cd. no error messages. it straigth away goes into windows. i have no such problems with other bootable cd's.

cd burnt as iso image. the digit dvd is not scratched, the cd i burnt is brand-new. i can browse the files in the suse cd easily. cd burnt at 48x. both my drives - liteon dvd rom and sumsung cdrw are pretty new. no problems reading other cd's.

i burnt a cd using the suse linux iso file on the digit dvd. however, the system does'nt boot from the cd. bios was changed to boot from the cdrom. whats wrong?

no such problem with my pinnacle tv tuner card.
