I faced the same problem as yours with my sparkle 7300GS. I am afraid your fan is burnt.. i got a new fan from dealextreme.com.. just make sure the distance of the mounting holes of the current fan and the one you choose match.

Thanks for the replies. Just to compare, how much better is the Athlon X2 4800-M2N-E vs my previous Athlon 64 3000-A8N-E combo? After searching around for a bit, I find that people have reported problems with the M2N-E board initially in 2007, so I am not sure if that still holds.. what do you say?
