I've compared shots from 1100D & S110. For daytime landscape shots I didn't see much of a difference, But for portraits 1100D is much better. Probably D7000 is a better camera than 1100D ? Like nac siad , would be great to see the comparison in different scenarios.

Yes. It starts off with a pinch harmonic on the 7th fret. Evanescence - "Haunted" has an awesome solo with about 5 of those squealies. The solo is isn't that hard to play but getting those pinch harmonics right is challenging.

Its the opposite for me. I can get it right when I am just playing that, but during solos I miss it. I never can never get it in the Comfortably numb solo.

Trying to play Sjipknot - Psychosocial. The pinch harmonics are difficult to get right. That solo is out of my reach. Have you ever tried playing it ?

Gattaca - 7.8/10 - I'm gonna say this one is a must watch. some other movies I watched recently Vanilla Sky - 7.2/10 X Men - First Class - 6.5/10 quite enjoyable X Men - DOFP - well I didn't really like this one.

I have not watched the movie & not even bashing it but for me any movie should stand on its own, the audience must not be required to read a book/watch comic to understand and appreciate the movie.

Well, DSLR & mirrorless no doubt be better, but I meant ISO 1600 with RX100 will surely give usable pictures & for the size of that cam its worth it, you can fit it in the jeans pocket. Here's one at ISO1600 on my cam. *flic.kr/p/qGQRK5

I can shoot at ISO 1600 with S110 without having to worry about noise, RX100 is much better camera.

Been playing The Evil Within these days. I'm not really enjoying this style of game play. I thought it'd be like F.E.A.R which I loved but its nothing like that.

They can watch the movie alone .. No need for us to suffer because they like it I mean if you enjoy movie with extreme gore / disturbing content & if the wife/gf didn't like that genre, would you expect them to watch it with you ?

The 2nd option sounds like a great chance to - save some money - make good use of 3 hours - make new friends

Q- Why do you keep watching these kind of movies even though you clearly hate them ? Do you still have hope that these directors would produce quality movies some day ?
