I did check the PSU. I used a borrowed Corsair VS450, temporarily replacing my CX430, as mentioned in my previous post. The system didn't reboot after connecting the VS450 and when the mains was switched off while I was gaming.
Thanks for all the inputs guys. Here is an update on the issue. I borrowed a Corsair VS450 PSU from an acquaintance and got it connected to my computer. I fired up a game and asked someone to switch off the mains. The system didn't reboot. I repeated this few more times and there was no reboot...

I have only recently started gaming on my main PC. My PC is powered by an APC BACK-UPS 800VA 230V that is close to five years old. As mentioned in the thread title, every time there is a powercut and I happen to be gaming at that time, the system suddenly reboots. It doesn't happen...

I have now moved over to a Railwire Optical Fiber connection (FTTH). Nothing special but these speeds are a huge upgrade to those delivered by BSNL Broadband and easier on the pocket too.

I am on Windows 10 Pro now. For me it has been Windows Defender since the Windows 8/8.1 days. I pair it with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free version and the combination has been great so far. Of course safe-browsing and downloading habits help too.
