Hi I installed win 7 (Home Premium) on win xp Prof. (SP3). when I boot into win 7 and check the programs it is not showing any of the programs installed in win xp. Please tell me I have to install all the programs again in win 7 or is there any way to run these programs from win 7 ?

Alternately you can start terminal and start testing your commands! You can use man "command name " without quotes to know more about the commands.
