If gaming is your requirement, go for L9. You might find it for around 15k on some deals.

As per a leaked report, S3 will be getting Android 5.0 that's Key Lime Pie. LG lags behind in giving updates. Of course OptG is a bit more powerful but you won't be disappointed with S3.

Can you post some details like how much you got this for and from where? Also, how has been your experience till now?

The prices of Samsung phones (S3, Note2 etc) have already been increased by around 1.5-2k. Not sure about others though.

If you have a budget for it, I believe Optimus G is the best choice out there. Far better in performance over S3 and oneX.

Good choice mate. Pros over Nexus 4: Warranty, better cam, better screen and increased storage. And as the hardware's the same as nexus 4, you can always port any custom rom out for the nexus.

LG Optimus L9 as mentioned above. If you want to look at other options, you can check HTC Desire X (Good looks and cam) and Samsung Galaxy S Advance but L9 beats both of these in specs.
