i wll be using lappy primarily for browsing. so i want the conx on the lappy rather than the pc. above suggestion is obviously the easiest way out.

the huawei router has one lan port, one adsl port (adsl) and wifi. what i want to do is connect my pc to the router thru lan, connect my lappy directly to sify and make the pc share internet access wirelessly thru the router from the lappy. can anyone suggest ways to do so.:confused:

airtel says :unable to process my request. bsnl : will take a little more than a month if lucky. tata indicomm: no signal acc. to frnds here. sify: gave the conx in one day's time.

hey even if dat waiting time comes back, i have devised a foolproof way to bypass dat waiting period.i am using dataone cox, and when i exceed download limit at rapidshare, all i do is disconnect and reconnect dataone conx immediately, new ip address is granted and i continue my downloading.
