Hello Fellows,
I own H61M-S2PV 2.1 version motherboard. It has G2020 Pentium @2.9Ghz. Recently to increase Graphics performance I installed a Graphics Card (with passive cooling as I like silence) Gforce GT 710 with 1 GB of DDR3. Now I wonder isn't it better to replace the Pentium with other...
Hello Everyone
My router from my ISP is receiving a public IP 83.7.x.x. How can I find out what is the mask of the IP? I tried some web sites who tell you what is your IP, but no luck.
thx
Yes, thank you Hrihi. You were right, problem was solved by:
netsh interface ipv4 add neighbors "Local Area Connection" ADDRS-IP -ADDR-MAC
After that it is in ARP list.
hi
I can see on wireshark that I am getting on my LAN arp requests all the time:
338 158.416690 AsustekC_05:3d:97 Broadcast ARP 42 Who has 192.168.1.26? Tell 192.168.1.20
It is releated to my HP printer. My computer (...1.20) running win7 sends this arp packet trying to discover...
Hello
I've been thinking a while what partition should be used for data storage. Let's say I want just two partitions on my HDD
for OS
for data
Shall I create two primary partitions or one primary and one logical? I don't know why but I've always created one primary and one logical...
hi
What I suggest is:
1. You should ask your SPI/Aministrator if your IP address is asigned to your NIC. If not, cloning is unnecessary.
2. Does the laptop has wired NIC? Try it
3. What OS do you use on your laptop. You might have misconfigured sth in your NIC. Uninstall your NIC...
Thanks. Does it mean that router uses SSDP to find devices on LAN and assign IP addresses to that devices through DHCP?
Then, it means that SSDP is a part of DHCP system, and DHCP requires SSDP to work. Is this correct?
OK, thanks, but I don't have printers or anything on the network (I have two computers connected to switch and 10 meters away a router). The source as we can see is from my router :-? Why does it keep sending me SSDP packets? (UPnP is turned off in the router)
PS
Can anyone suggest a piece...
Hello
I've recently installed wireshark to see what packets are going/coming through my NIC. What I can see is that SSDP protocol is bombarding my NIC all the time, one packet after another. As far as I know SSDP is used by UPnP.
I thought that it would be a good idea to turn UPnP off to...
Don't you mistake LLF for ZeroFill operation?
LLF to HDD = applying new sector structure (not zero-fill old sectors).
LLF to SSD = "A low level format will perform a write cycle on every individual memory transistor, " tamatarpakoda says. True?
What is odd to me is that I can't find...
Thank you for your answers. HDD is low-level formatted at the factory with sectors. After we had bought a HDD, we could only use high level format. It is not necessary or even possible that the HDD be low-level formatted.
My question is: is flash memory, say pen drives or SSD, low-level...
