Lets wait for a new nVidia card coming out ... Which will give ATI a tuff competition which it has been doing for the past years.

And then ATI will release its counterpart in 6 months or so ..... As in case of 8800GT

nvidia does not have a chipset ready at this point of time. Their best bet was GTX 260 and GTX280.

It's the architecute change in HD4xxx a.k.a RV770 that brought in the drastic performance imporvement.

I do sense that nVidia is prepping a new architecture from scratch to batlle RV770. It's not gonna be soone. It's gonna take few months for his to come up and till then it's ATI.

XFX 8600GT 256DDR3 - 4.2k(Inc Tax)

I bought this card after my 3 year old 6600GT got corrupted to display vertical lines confirming its farewell day. Actually thought of not getting xfx 8600GT even if I intend to purchase one, but stupid dealers in chennai doesn't offered me anything except xfx and zebronics ddr2 variants of 8600GT. No mercury 8600GT was available. Perhaps I should have done a wait for 9600/8800GT, but dont have a choice with no onboard video option in biostar p35 mobo.

Well, I bought a Sapphire HD 4850 for 12K in Bangalore as I could not wait to play Crysis at a very high setting and I could not afford the HD 4870 as I am getting married shortly:D.

A local dealer is offering 8GB transcend Pen Drive for 900/-.
Is it safe to buy it?[The retail price on the package is way more and it has importer logo,label and address]
Also a 2GB transcend microSD card for 350/- which has 1,550/- as M.R.P on it.

So its safe to buy.
BTW,I was mentioning Chinese ones.
