Hi Guys,

Looking for a Mobile Phone in the range of 20K dont know much about the processor that I need, but I can tell you guys about the features that it needs to have and they are 120Hz Display, Super Amoled Screen, 8GB of RAM, Good Camera to be able to shoot low light photos also decently. If it comes with a wireless charging nothing like it. Quad Speakers if Possible. Not too Bulky, light weight and good looking body :)

Any names that come to your mind on the top ?

Except for OS and Processor I have included almost all the information. I think that should be enough to get a recommendation.

Hey. The questionnaire helps members to understand your requirements easily and quickly since it's in a pre-defined format and maintains objectivity. Members don't have the time or patience to read paragraphs. So don't be surprised if you don't get much response when questionnaire is missing.

Define light weight? Give a number, like under 180g or 200g, etc.

Realme 9 pro+ has the best cam in budget phones, was a great deal under 20k in last sale, might drop to close to 20k in any upcoming sale, like during Christmas/New Year, can't say for sure. Need some work with cleaning bloat & removing unnecessary notifications. Poor custom ROM support, not sure if you even need to worry about it, because many power users like me don't go into the hassle of rooting & custom ROMs these days. Costs 25k now.

Moto G82 5G is a good phone overall with no bloatware, but camera is not as good as 9 pro+. Is 20k now. If you are using an old inferior phone, this will be an upgrade for sure. Only problem is very slow android OS updates from Moto. Realme is faster than them.

Hey Thanks for the suggestion. One question does it makes sense to get into any OnePlus Phone series ? Lower end one's ?

No

OS has a lot of bugs as well. Oxygen OS is based off oppo's UI & oppo one is apparently more stable. So better off getting Realme or iQoo instead of Oneplus. IMO Samsung's One UI is the best UI but they don't have great value phones these days. Like M53 is expensive & need a bit lower price, 22k would be ok. A33 5G & A53 5G would have been ok if they had Dimensity 800 & 900 respectively instead of Exynos.

Source: My friend has OP 9 pro & father has OP Nord. Both upgraded OS to android 12 against my judgement. Have some random issues here & there, like UI crashing, then recovering, sometimes can't accept/reject incoming call, & some other small ones which randomly occur.

How about Redmi Note 11 Pro+ ?

Exactly which one in Samsung were you suggesting ?
None

Read again, my suggestions were Realme 9 pro+ & Moto G82. Samsung ones are not that good + expensive, expensive wouldn't have been an issue if hardware was at least decent. M53 is ok if you really want Samsung, but instead of spending 25k on that, try to find old stock of A52s for 28k. You are going over budget for sure. Stay away from A33, M33 & A53 because of Exynos.

Samsung s20 fe is available at 30K on Amazon. what are your thoughts on this @omega44-xt
Still a solid phone with 2nd best rear camera setup under 40k, most likely just behind 6a. It has a good telephoto cam as well, that too with OIS. Main cons are software updates (android 13 is last) & selfie cam.

Selfie cam is average for price, even some cheaper phones have a better one. Primary rear cam performs similar to iQoo 9 & slightly superior to OP 9 pro in low light when I compared. Compared to iQoo 9, other rear cams seemed better to me. OP 9 pro has superior ultrawide.

Performance is still great. Battery life is inferior to budget phones, I get 5hr SOT on a full day usage, mostly on WiFi, with some usage on 4G.

I just came back to report the Realme 9 Pro+ you suggested does not have 120HZ display where as the Samsung M53 has it. isn't that a game changer ?

Get a G82 and be free from bloated UI (from Realme, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Oneplus). M53 is not worth it IMO.

Definitely no. 60Hz to 90Hz is a big jump, but 90Hz to 120Hz is not as big of a jump & so on. Also, jumping from 60Hz to 120Hz is a noticeable jump, but 120Hz to 240Hz is not.

This is because of response time, which is: 1 / refresh rate.
60Hz = 16.67ms
90Hz = 11.11 ms
120Hz = 8.33 ms

Unless you are already using 120/144Hz panel on phones, 90Hz or heck even 60Hz is fine for most people.
