New Gaming Rig Under 70K

I need to build PC as current one has started having frequent crashes.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.' Vague answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work.)
Ans: This PC will be for gaming purpose only. I play FPS games like Doom, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike etc.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then please mention.
Ans: 70K

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Yes, but in future.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 10.

5. How much hard drive / solid-state drive space is needed?
Ans: No HDD needed for now, but will buy SSD.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention the screen size and resolution you prefer. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, then do mention the screen size and resolution of the monitor you have.
Ans:No Monitor needed.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy? i.e. which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I have Seasonic S|| 520 W power supply and will be using my Antec GX 700 cabinet.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: ASAP

9. Have you ever built a desktop before? Or, will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:Yes, I have built PC two times.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: I will buy it from both online and Nehru Palace, wherever I can get cheaper.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I have always used AMD, but now wherever I check everyone is suggesting Intel any specific reason.

For saving money, get RX 6600 for 32k:
ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6600 8GB GDDR6 Graphic Card DUAL-RX6600-8G

Cabinet - Ant ICE 311MT - 3.6k
PSU - Deepcool PM650D 80+ Gold - 4.9k

Advantages of RTX 3060, better performance relative to AMD at 2Kor 4K, also DLSS is helpful at those resolution.

Also AMD cards don't support Tensorflow like AI ML frameworks since many AI ML frameworks need CUDA .

Thanks for configuration, I have checked and Ryzen 5 5600G and Ryzen 5 5600X are of same price , is it advisable to go with a configuration based on these.

5600G is inferior to 5600X & i5 12400 in every way. If you want iGPU, get i5 12400 instead of 12400F, costs 1.5-2k more.
Note: Without dGPU, PC won't work with 5600X or 12400F

5600X is slightly better than i5 12400, like 5% better, but 12400F costs 15k & 5600X is 21k in most places, no point spending 6k extra on 5600X. If you are into gaming, jump up to 6650XT for 41-42k to see some uplift in fps.

Check prices for 3060Ti as well, some sellers had it for 45k. Would be a great choice at that price. 3070 starts at 55k these days. What resolution are you targeting?

MSI Radeon RX 6600 XT Mech 2X 8G OC GDDR6
ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6650 XT OC Edition 8GB GDDR6 Graphic Card DUAL-RX6650XT-O8G

So 6k extra over Intel config., won't see any noticeable gains over i5 with a mid-range system. Maybe with RTX 3070, you might start seeing 5% fps gains, not with a lower GPU.

Thanks for configuration, i know you are suggesting what is best and appreciate it. But my brother and me decided to stick with AMD.

Any better processor range to be launched in future?

7000 series is coming with new socket and seems to be 15 % increase in single core performance , pic 5.0 , ddr5 ram and very good increase in multi core performance when compared with previous generation

But you need to wait until 2023 beginning to get in high prices

above is the another negative point of buying AMD right now. They had advantage of same socket for last few years but next gen will have different socket so a upgrade for AMD setup ends. If anyone wants to upgrade to 7xxx series then they need to change Mobo+RAM as well.
Intel config suggested by Omega is solid and make sense. Unless there is going to be AMD specific use cases, there is no point in building AMD setup, specially for gaming. Better to use the available budget on a GPU.

See this video :

12400F is faster in Gaming than 5600x with lower price, and in some benchmark 12400F is 5% faster or equal

So if you buying right now, then go for 12400F .

Waiting for 7000 series is good since I am also to upgrade my desktop but since it's not urgent, I am waiting for 7000 series.

But it seems to urgent for you by your original post starting lines

If yes , go with 12400F

Not anytime soon for budget users, at least a wait till Q1 2023. If buying 5600X, prefer AMD GPU as well, esp if the gaming resolution will be 1080p to take advantage of SAM.

I personally didn't buy 5600X because i5 was just cheaper with similar performance.

Thinking of buying this from facebook.

Will current motherboard support DDR5 RAM?

Price?

The i5 12400 or R5 5600X comes very close to 3800 in MC performance & outperforms it in gaming performance. 1070Ti performs like RTX 2060, so inferior to RX 6600 which is actually similar to RTX 2070. Not to forget those are old parts to begin with.

For DDR5 RAM you need DDR5 mobo. DDR5 RAM is expensive & not worth the cost right now.

Will ask the price for 1070Ti, though he is not interested in selling it in parts
Okay.

And ....

If 1070ti performance is equal to 2060 , then even a new piece is only worth for 12k .

Because 2060 reached as low as 25k , when prices are somewhat normal 2 years ago , so it's correct price now is 18k only , so it's equivalent previous gen 1070ti must 12k for new one .

So get if he sells for 8k !!!

But since he not sell in parts , buy @Omega suggestions

Please suggest another B660 motherboard as Gigabyte one is either unavailable or costing around 12K.

How to check. If motherboard support DDR5, as I read that B660 does support DDR5 and 13th gen CPU.

Also read somewhere that B660 doesn't support overclocking.
