I bought a new gen Xbox controller from them. After using for a minute I found out about the issue with Y button, which was not as responsive as rest of the buttons, I needed to press hard to register the command. I sent a email on the same day I received the package and called them to inform about the issue. On call they told me they will not accept a replacement or refund since they do not support this facility for both xbox and play station consoles and accessories. They asked me to contact xbox customer support to resolve my issues.

I bought from them after reading positive comments on reddit and now I regret. Dont buy consoles or console accessories from them and stick with Amazon for safe side purchase.

Meanwhile I have been in contact with Xbox customer support and they accepted to replace my controller after doing basic troubleshooting from my system. Unfortunately the replacement controller also has same issue and I think this is a manufacturing defect in some batches.

Just verify if its a manufacturing defect or the other. If it is then MS would have to recall all their shipped controllers.
Yes. i have requested another replacement from Xbox customer care. I will update here if the 3rd unit also has same issue or not. Let's see how it goes.

So 3rd controller came, after exchanging 2nd time. Things were delayed because of me since I got caught up in other works and postpone the pickup for around 10 days. I have to say, MS customer support is really good.

Ok so this time Y button is more responsive than previous 2 controllers but its not how it should be. Light presses still don't register every time which is very irritating. But this time, even other buttons have similar issue. I can say with confident that there is a production issue in some batches.
I have Xbox One controller as well, I don't press the buttons hard while playing. I have never faced this issue with XOne controller.
I spent almost 6k on Series X controller. And its not worth the pain to go through several changes and wait for the working controller to arrive.

Stick with Amazon where you can get refund in case controller has any issue. Avoid gamestheshop please. They didn't even had the MS customer care service number who are handling RMA issue currently. They gave me a number for a company which isn't even handling RMA for xbox in India, though they were doing it earlier. They directed me to correct MS RMA handlers in India, not gamestheshop.

An update:

I accepted another replacement from Microsoft. It was delayed a lot because of 2nd wave. I sent in my controller around mid July and received the replacement controller about in 5 days. This was my 4th controller now. And guess what, it has the same issue. I recorded another video showing the problem and comparing it to XOne controller and spoke again on phone about it. They said they need to talk to leadership about refund.

Now they call me again within 3 days and told me refund is accepted by the leadership but it will take about 30-45 days. Or, I can accept another replacement, but this time they will send any controller I want, not the Shock Blue I originally bought. I asked if its possible to send a normal Black controller instead of special edition & a wireless adapter. They said no that wont be possible so they will take refund request forward. I accepted this and said Yes.

After 2 days I get another call where they informed me that the amount they can reimburse will be exact amount Rs.5890, but in Dollars. So when they send me the amount to my bank account there might be a little loss of amount due to currency conversion. So, they have accepted the request of normal black controller + wireless adapter for Windows. I said fine send me the controller and wireless adapter.

But when I get a email from Microsoft that my (replacement) order is getting processed, it said Xbox ONE controller, not the Series X. I sent them another email and they said by normal black they assumed I am asking for XOne controller. And I don't need to return the Series X controller anymore. I was already tired of all this so I said Ok.

Last Saturday, August 7, 2021, I receive XOne controller and wireless adapter. This controller doesn't have any issue! So at the end, I get to keep the Shock Blue(problem) controller, a new XOne + wireless adapter. It started back in late Jan 2021 and I am accepting a previous gen working controller in August. This all should have taken only 45 days but everything was delayed because of Covid. Microsoft send the pickup Airway bill to email which needs to be printed out every time and handed to courier guys. But because of 2nd wave, I could not go outside to take printout for nearly 2 months. Microsoft customer support was really good and understanding. Pickup was arranged right away free of cost everytime. They have their service center in New Delhi.

Let me know if I should upload the video on Youtube or anywhere to show what exact problem I was facing.

PS: Forum is facing any issue? I could not access the forum on entire weekend.
