Any suggestion for a secondary handset

Hi again,
Recently shifted from S7Edge to S9+. Happy about it, could have gone for note because of it's additional features (helpful for office stuffs).
Well, Getting another connection, and thus need to buy a handset for secondary usage.

1. Budget? Lowest is best. May be 10k-15k. Beyond that I'll go for some flagship and will make my s9+ secondary :p
2. Display type and size? Looking for smaller size.
3. Dual sim? I guess it's normal now.
4. Preferred choice of brand? might want to stay away from Chinese :)
5. What camera option you want (flash, front facing camera)? No comment
6. Preferred operating system? (Android, iOS,Stock Android etc). No comment
7. Preferred connectivity options (Dual 4G,802.11AC/5Ghz(not 5g mobile network) wifi). Best available options
8. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, internet, gaming etc)? Internet (emails and browsing), networking and connectivity
9. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? Nope
10. Any other info that you want to share: As I am looking for secondary usage, smaller form factor with longer battery life is top priority.

Please let me know your suggestions. Thanks in advance.

M31 is a worse value now, better get M21. Same SoC, display & 6000mAh battery, so good enough for cheaper price.

OP can have a look at Realme 6 as well as its a good overall package, surely takes a hit on battery life compared to those Samsungs.

I doubt you will find good compact phones for that price, the good options are all big ones. Maybe get a multimedia phone if you will use it mainly for calls. Do all other stuff in your S9+. Save the money, get a new flagship next year maybe.

I'm still using my S8 because there are no good compact phones in the market.

I was going to go for the Realme Narzo 10A as my secondary phone to OnePlus 6, itd be mainly for being a spare phone when i'm travelling, work as a gps while driving, storing some misc work related data, misc apps i need to keep but dont use much. Rs 8500 is good enough for a spare phone, no point spending more.

true. i changed my decision to get M21 from M31 because of same SoC. now waiting for M31S as there are some runors that it might get released with SD SoC.

S660 performance for a 15k+ phone is low in 2020. They need at least S712. There's a chance that it might end up with Exynos 880 or a non-5G version of 880. 880 looks like a good upgrade over old Exynos.
