Problem connecting Dualshock 4 controller with PC

Hi,

I purchased Sony Dualshock 4 controller recently to use with my PC and along-with it, a bluetooth dongle, as my PC doesn't have inbuilt bluetooth. Now, when I try to connect the controller using this dongle, sometimes the controller doesn't get detected and if it does, it disconnects after sometime. I want to know if anyone is using this controller with their PCs and what bluetooth solution are you using or if anyone has faced a similar problem and solution for it?
Can you suggest a decent bluetooth dongle?

Thanks

Please try to listen. I have tried everything. I am using DS4 already. I have already searched for the solutions on the Internet and YouTube but none of them concerns to my problem.

The problem lies in regard to the bluetooth. When I pair the controller with the PC using the bluetooth dongle, it pairs at first "sometimes" but then automatically disconnects after sometime.

I have come to the forum to see if anyone has faced this problem and also if someone is using this controller with the PC and what bluetooth solution are they using for the controller and also to connect other peripherals.

Please help someone. I am now using the controller with the mini USB cable but it defies the entire purpose of having a wireless controller.

It could be a faulty bluetooth dongle. Get a proper one from a good company or try to connect to a laptop's inbuilt one and try again.

@Darshan Singh - try the same BT dongle and controller on another pc. If they are are pairing ok and stay connected then problem is with your pcs USB port or drivers. Alternatively you can try plugging the dongle into another free USB port. Or try pairing your phone with the BT dongle and transfer some files - let's ~500MB mp3 files just to be sure the BT dongle is working alright. If the BT dongle is good then it must be the controller itself. You can try the controller on a friend's laptop to be sure.
