A powerful chip like i7-8750H with expandle RAM if possible

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: Dell,ASUS
b. Dislike: HP

6) Anything else you would like to say?

Edit :
Just a slight change in requirement now. I actually have a Macbook, which i though of giving it off to my brother who is into music production and buy a new laptop. But he tried mac with logic x pro, but said he is better off using FL Studio on windows.

So i decided to retain mac with myself and buy a new windows laptop for my brother.
The main purpose would be music production using FL Studio and other music related softwares.
All he would need is a laptop with good display and it should be portable. Graphics card is not much of important.
Would prefer i7 8th Gen if possible. I looked at Dell XPS 13 but it's too pricey for what it offers :(

I'm looking to buy this in the Diwali sale in Amazon from Nov-2nd as they have offers on HDFC cards this time, which i have. So any suggestions would be really helpful.

Asus TUF Core i7 8th Gen - (8 GB/1 TB HDD/128 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/6 GB Graphics) FX504GM-EN017T Gaming Laptop Rs.111990 Price in India - Buy Asus TUF Core i7 8th Gen - (8 GB/1 TB HDD/128 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/6 GB Graphics) FX504GM-EN017T Gaming Laptop Gun Metal Online - Asus : Flipkart.com

Same specs but with a good 120Hz IPS display. Unless you have an Xbox One X, use this laptop for playing all games as everything would run much better (connect it to your TV).

Thanks for your suggestion. I Do have an xbox one x. I won't be doing much gaming on this laptop.
The MSI one i mentioned had 16GB RAM and coming for 89k only so thought of buying it.
But heard some really bad reviews about MSI service in India. So skipped it.

Will look at some more options and see if i can get good deal during Diwali or later sales.

You know that RAM can be added but CPU & GPU can't be, right? So never have RAM or storage (availability of M.2 + 2.5" SATA can be a priority though) as a priority as they can be swapped. For same CPU & GPU, you can consider RAM to be deal breaker but there are a lot of other things which I would rank higher as a priority like thermals, build, design, after sales, etc.

The last sale had great deals & I doubt there will such a big sale soon, maybe during Christmas New Year. Flipkart has gaming fridays, so have a look at those every friday. Follow Acer Predator Helios 300 as well. That is a better gaming laptop than Asus TUF for similar price.

As you have Xbox One X, I would recommend picking up Acer Predator Helios 300 with i5 8300H & 1050Ti whenever you see it under 70k. Save money, no point in having both a 1060 powered gaming laptop & One X (both perform similarly). But if you are into multiplayer games, the 120Hz display of Asus will give an advantage with 1060 (games like PUBG, DOTA 2, R6 Siege, etc).

There are ultrabooks with the same specs as XPS 13 at 70k from Asus (Zenbook something). Get that.\

From what I heard, music production is CPU intensive, so an i5 8300H + GTX 1050 powered gaming laptop will perform better than those ultrabooks. Check Asus TUF, costs 56k during sales.

Also, don't make the mistake of buying an ultrabook with i7 8550U CPU. The i5 8250U is sufficient & the i7 is just about 10% better which doesn't justify the price difference.
