Nice video..thats what I am saying, when technology is anyways going to be mandetory from next yr, its better to get bike with ABS.

Another video here implying ABS isn't that great as its made out to be. Being a biker myself I can say this mistake could easily've been averted with normal braking(he was riding at 25 kmph).


And another video claims here that you don't need ABS!


Bottomline-I agree we need ABS in bikes, but I think non ABS bikes aren't that bad either. But yeah ABS is definitely great!

Hehehe look if u get the bike this year..you can definitely go for non abs bikes..it will be cheap..and in city its fine since speed is low..i think on highway its more required

Lol even already launched ABS bikes are not available in showrooms.

I asked TVs they said they won't bring Apache RTR 200 n 180 Abs version due to low popular ity of Abs bikes due to higher cost.

I told them I was willing to pay a premium even then they didn't agree.

The non abs version looked good though with a cheap price tag of 1.13 lacs. But I'll buy it only with ABs.

Bikes with ABS usually come with a switch to turn off ABS in conditions where there is gravel. In such scenarios, ABS doesn't help.

DO you mean the TVS showroom you talked won't bring ABS variants for poor demand ?
