No Good Gaming Laptops in India?

Hi,

I am looking to buy a gaming laptop.

My Budget is around 150k.

My requirements for the laptop are
  • atleast an i7-6700HQ processor
  • GTX 980M 8GB graphics card
  • 250GB SSD
  • 1TB HDD 7200 RPM
  • atleast 8GB RAM
  • 15.6 inch screen
  • as light as possible

Alienware 15 R2 seems to match all these requirements (even though it's a bit heavy), but it has some serious problems with its display.
Other than that there are no other options in India :(
Can anyone suggest how to get a good gaming laptop in India?

PS: I have looked at xoticpc Sager laptops. I am unsure about the delivery/customs and service aspects. If there is someone who can help me with those, it would be highly appreciated.

Yeah they charge around 158 USD for shipping. I am more concerned about the customs and service here in India. Have you ordered a laptop from xotic before?

Hey check out Azom systems.
Tgey offer good configs

Already spoke with them. Their laptops are quite heavy (3.4 kg for the laptop and 1 kg for the power adapter). That's why I am looking at other lighter alternatives.

Did u speak with them about custom charges ?

coz I think $158 also includes the custom charges.
basically they have to include it as Amazon does it for international shipping

It's mentioned on their website that shipping does not include local customs and duties. Those have to be paid extra at the time of delivery.

If you want lightweight gaming laptop, you'll have to get one from Aorus (other light weight options: Custom Laptops, Gaming Notebooks, Custom Gaming Laptops | XOTIC P )

Also, the expected config for 150k INR is too much. India has only a few of gaming laptop OEMs.

Aorus isn't available in India.

Already checked Xotic, but I am not sure how the import duties work out when importing a laptop.
