nexus 7 2013 or ipad mini retina display

Hey guys!! Whats up?
As the tittle suggest I am looking forward to replace my tablet with either one of these since both my nexus 7 and ipad mini are of 1st generation and now ageing.
I am looking forward to upgrade either one of them now. So now I need your suggestions.
Tasks which will be performed will be
1. browsing
2. gaming
3. movies and some other day to day activities.
Hoping for some input soon

get the nexus 7 2013,retina display isnt much of an upgrade with that screen size
that being said the ipad mini isnt bad at all and retina display is great but doesnt justify as an upgrade from a working 1st gen ipad mini

So should I wait a bit more or get the Nexus 7 since I guess price cut is near. What do you guys think?

i think waiting is best
ipad mini 3 and air 2 are round the corner,get the air 1 when it gets a price cut

Air cost around 35k I dont want to spend that much. Max i can get out of my pocket is about 25k.

its price will reduce once the next gen is launched and theres no "gen problems" with apple as such so itll be a safe buy
