But lg90 might exceed my budget as I was only thinking about moto g for 14k till now so lg90 @ 16k might exceed it. So is lg90 worth that money against moto g? Any pros of lg90 which might be useful?

Moto G if you want a long term phone.

You can have advantage of the great developer support and hence, your phone never gets old :).
This isnt the case with L9.

Moto G has inferior warranty, true it has better dev support but for a "sister" this is quite useless

I will also recommend LG L90 for your sister. It has really good specs but the camera is medicore. If she like to take pics then consider Lumia 720 or 630.

Alright. Btw who will be providing customer care service for moto g in India? Lenovo?

Yes, Lenovo now being the owner of Motorola Mobility will provide after sales. But I wonder whether Moto G will get all upgrades since its not a Google product anymore

Well since u dont want to look at Indian brands u can check out the following
1. Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro :doublethumb:
2. LG L 90 ( if u can get in the 15k range ) :doublethumb:
3. Moto G
4. Lumia 720 :doublethumb:
5.Lumia 630.( Windows Phone 8.1)
.
--If the priorities are customisation, playing games, and if u use a lot of non productivity apps then u may go in for an android phone.
--If the priorities are better phone user interface, security ,camera, and robust build go for Nokia. After sales is great as always.
--Moto G has somewhat a poor camera among all the phones, the Google brand tag is lost, and no expandable memory cripples it, but it offers great hardware and Kitkat though its not clear whether an upgrade to Lollipop is assured or not.
--All Windows 8 phone get a assured updates for 3 years from Microsoft.
-- If u are a heavy app user then dont thnk twice, Go for an android one...
.
