can I play online pc games with this broadband connection

what's the best mtnl plan for heavy
downloaders and gamers, how is the
freedom 800 plan ( 2 mbps from 11pm to 8 am and 512kbps from 8 am to 11 pm ) will I be able to play
online games without lag like
battlefield3 and black ops 2 ? please
help me out guys and what's the
downloading speed u get in this plan
and what's the ping in us ( i wanna beat them real bad )and
european servers sorry for the length
of the question but I'm really curious
about it taking internet connection for the first time.

you can. anyways if you can get fibre based conection in your city instead of mtnl, get it. generally they have very good routing which makes it good for online gaming.

@digital fragger can I play on us servers without any lag on mtnl freedom plan and thanx for ur suggestion but in my area I can get only mtnl's broadband

You should be able to play on servers in South East Asia without much lag.

agree. only saying from experience pings of bsnl/mtnl were not reliable for me. the pings go rogue once in a while if not very frequent. anyways agree that fibre line is not always feasible and not the solution to all problems

Online game will require lower Latency (ping), Download speed has nothing to do with lag as mostly all broadband plan comes with enough download speed. Along with low Latency need always on net.

I play TibiaME game which is online game and believe me I have tried every ISP available for lag free playing.

Out of all best ISP which have low latency with always on internet is MTS.

Get an MTS Dongle. I use Rs. 1500 plan with Validity of 3 months and 15 GBs. MTS is Highest in price among all ISPs but if want perfect net then there is no alternative than MTS.

I think 5GB per month would be enough for you.
