make sure you get multiple sandpapers with various grit levels for smoothening the paint. you dont want to scrape off the fresh coat.

One of the reasons why I strictly suggest NZXT in low-end or mid-end.

Before applying that spray don't forget to clean the rust completely, I don't think that paint will hold over rust.

Yes, you're right NZXT is somehow better than CM.But at the time when I purchased that cabinet(23rd May~hehe my birth day
) NZXT were not available at KOlkata's market.
But should I apply for replacement or just color up that area???

Well dude 5.5 k isn't small price.
It's not painting, it's the material actually. Painting can't be rusted.Areyy..yar CM's painting quality is not up to the mark.Zebronics or Frontech is better than CM 690II
I also think you should talk to Vedant about this, maybe you have a bad batch/product and you should get a replacement imo.
