What is the iso proply alcohol for, because for medical uses i bought one bottle of iso propyl alcohol which is commonly known as surgical spirit... it costed 25 Rs,, for 100ml too lazy to take photo and upload it but its found in all medical stores, is ur iso proply alcohol different???

They come in different concentrations, anyways they are used for cleaning copper heatsinks and the base of the heatsink that keeps in contact with the CPU heatspreader.

It is for cleaning the LCD. It needs to be mixed with distilled water in a 50:50 ratio. Then a dip a lint free cloth(spectacles cleaning cloth) and gently rub it in circular motion. Leave it to dry.

Pure isopropyl alcohol contains high amount of alcohol.> 90%. Merchk company is a good maker of that.
