Laptop@45k

My friend need a laptop for all purpose. We r doing Engineering course. His budjet is 45k. So kindly suggest a good bundle. With loads of features. Is DELL laptops Service is good?

first check for Dell Studio and then Dell Inspiron. other options will be Acer Aspire 5738 and HP dv4 or dv5 series.

1) go for core2duo. avoid turion/athlon as they are heavy on battery
2) if possible, get one that comes with dedicated GPU
3) get 3gig ram atleast
4) make sure the laptop comes with windows 7 or a free upgrade to windows 7 from vista
5) atleast 320Gb of HDD size

go for Acer Aspire 5738G,I am also doing software engineering,it works well,I m also using it.

if you want ur lappy to look little bit exclusive den go 4 dell or HP. and if you want performance @ cheep price den go 4 accer.

If you’re short on Budget, then go for the Acer 5536G. Amazing VFM and great config. If not then try the 5542G.

I think its best to Go for some brand like Dell or Asus as per your budget. Don't even think about Compaq or HP, as they have really poor build quality and bad customer care service.
