Hey, be cool ya :)
Somebody will reply.
And my suggestion is to buy a SoundMagic PL-30 which is a perfect fit for your mobile or any music player.
If not, then consider the ep-630 from creative. Still it's a rocking model. I got it only for 450/-

Yes, be clear about that. If it's headphones, then senneheiser hd202 is the best, and there are also philips models available (Don't know about the exact model name). As for earphones, the SoundMagic PL-30 is the best. It will definitely fit for your shuffle and give you clear music experience.

I don't know much about music quality. I have been using Sony earphone (600 Rs.) for the last 2.5 years. I like it because of the audio quality and especially good bass. My front got a Sennheiser head phone worth 2000 Rs. when he bought a Nokia 5800 phone. I tried it, but I didn't like it. I felt that compared to my Sony earphone, its bass was very less.

The senn headphones you get with 5800 are really cheap quality ones, i personally dont like them, but the HD202 is totally different...amazing audio quality when paired with my 5800XM

Sennhesiser HD 202 are good headphones in your budget, but few things to watch out for. it has a Y-cable, which is not such a good idea as they tend to get unintentionally tugged more ofte. One sided cables are better. Replaceable ones are the best. Also, it has an impedance of 32 ohms. don't know about the n78, but the shuffle isn't built to power 32ohm headphones. So, you're basically going to get low volume output, even at max volume levels, and its going to consume ur shuffle battery a lot faster.

Personally, I use the Ultrasone HFI 780 headphones (*www.amazon.com/Ultrasone-HFI-780-S...dphones/dp/tech-data/B00101XVH2/ref=de_a_smtd). they are audiophile grade headphones with very high fidelity and a replaceable cable, but also have a relatively high impedance of 35 ohms, so I don't use them with my ipod. For portable usage, I prefer earphones, and use the Monster Turbine in-ear speakers (*www.amazon.com/Monster-Turbine-Hig...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1254331838&sr=1-1)

go ahea and order it. it should be fine with the n78. its the shuffle that might be a little underpowered for it. The n78 can handle 32ohm headphones

dont go for hd201 or hd 202 if you are buying it for your mobile, both are hard to drive models..thats wt reviews says. I have hd201, since i am using it with pc i dnt hav imepdance problem.
Better extent your budget and buy Sennheiser PX100, which will give true music quality.

my current headphones are 35 ohms and my ipod classic can drivet hem reasonably. Agreed, I don't get ear splitting volumes like I would with a pair of earphones, but by no means is the volume feeble.

The Senneheiser's are 32 ohm, so they should ber elatively easier to drive. As for audio quality, you can trust Sennheiser with that.
