    Hi Guys,

I am looking for a powerbank. I have been reluctant to buy these because my friend's phone got fried due to electricity surge problem from a reputed powerbank. My cousin also had one with 1 year warranty, worked fine in summers it wasn't used even once in winters and so it's battery gave up next year. Is there any good one which does not harm devices? I want the one which I can charge directly from the electricity plug. My budget is 1k can stretch it to 1.5k.

P.S. Is there any powerbank kind of device for laptops?

    Thanks

I am using a Xiaomi power bank that I purchased sometime back for appx Rs. 999. It has 10240 mAH and lasts about three full charges of my phone.
For laptop, the only way is to purchase additional batteries.

Thanks. Can you please share the model number of the same? How much warranty for the same?
I am presuming that it has 10240 mAH capacity.

Yes, 10240 mAH. It was a typo.
Don't remember the model number but you can search "xiaomi power bank" or something and you should be able to find it.

Generally lenovo and Xiaomi make good power bank as far as I have heard. You can always Google . Customer support is generally bad for everything in our country. The trick, is to find a product where we never get to find out.

Xiaomi uses very good quality battery (LG/Panasonic).
Once upon a time Ambrane also used Samsung cells. But for their latest version products, they don't mention cell manufacturer name.

I will advise you to go with Xiaomi.

I missed buying Mi power bank 18 months ago. Ever since then it was very hard to buy it, because of duplicate products everywhere and less stock availability. Few months back, I jumped the gun and bought the 10240 mAH version of Mi powerbank as soon as I saw it was avilable on MI site. I bought it for full price which was Rs 1299. I think it was worth the full price. It's running good.

I think warranty is for 6 months.
I can't remember any company which offers more than 6 month warranty on a battery. Even for phones, the battery and charger are covered for 6 months.

Just saw a xiaomi 10400 powerbank selling for 749 + delivery charges at paytm. Does anybody know whether it could be original?. If it's original, that's definitely worth buying.
