Gaming Rig Advice <50K

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Gaming (All modern AAA titles) (Dishonored 2, Mass Effect Andromeda, Doom etc..)
& Media Consumption

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 50K may be 2K more maximum..

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Maybe CPU in a year or so when i feel OC is needed :p

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: WIN10

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 2TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: 1080P 22'' I guess

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: NONE

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Online (Amazon or MDComputers) or SP Road Bangalore

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Nope

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Bangalore

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Importing RX570 from US for 12K(hope I don't screw up:(), so basically i am left with 38K for other components..

Build in my mind,

>Ryzen 5 1400
>RAM - 8GB DDR4 2400MHZ (Corsair or G.Skill)
>MOBO - Confused here, thinking of B320M Chipset instead of B350M to cut cost..
ASUS MOTHERBOARD PRIME A320M-K (AMD SOCKET AM4/RYZEN SERIES CPU/MAX 32GB DDR4-3200MHZ MEMORY)
>Please advice on decent (budget conscious) Case & PSU
>Monitor - LG 22MP58VQ-P - 22 INCH MONITOR (5Ms RESPONSE TIME, 60Hz REFRESH RATE, FHD IPS PANEL)
or any other good alternative..

Are MDcomputers reliable, have never bought anything from them till date..

Is SSD necessary? Does it matter that much?

Also any idea where I can sell my old Rig (What cost can i expect)
C2D E7500, 4GB RAM, HD6570 1 GB DDR3, Dell 1366*768 monitor, 500GB HDD...

Assume GPU has it's own separate budget.
With A320, you can't overclock. If you go with A320 and skimp here and there, you could probably fit Ryzen 1600.
With B350, you can fit 1500X.

nope 50K including GPU, BTW thanks for pointing that out, seemed little confusing (updated OP).

Then got to skimp on every product. :( No offense. Budget is too tight for everything.

1)Don't sacrifice GPU warranty for 3k .. Buy Sapphire Rx 570 4gb pulse for Rs 15,000 instead

2) Don't get that LG model , it does not have Freesync , get this one and don't skip Freesync.. LG 22Mp68VQ-P

PSU - Seasonic si2ii 520 - - 5,500 (don't skimp on psu with Rx 570 )
Ram - Corsair Vengance 8gb ddr4 2400mhz - 4,300
CPU - Ryzen 1500x - - 13,700
Mobo - Asus A320 board - 5,300
Monitor - LG 22MP68VQ-P freesync - - 9,000
GPU - 4gb Sapphire Rx 570 Pulse - 15,000

Total - 52,800

just Rs 800 more than your max budget and you get a balanced durable rig..

Use your old hard disk , case , kb and mouse for now.. and sell the rest components separately on digit, erodov ,techenclave ,olx

SSD is nice.. will speed up loading times , booting , overall pc responsiveness , antivirus scans .. but not an "essential" for gaming pc.. and not at this time when ssd prices are so high ..

Thanks for the reply..

Have already ordered the GPU, one of my friend is coming in next week, so ordered already

Correct me if i am wrong, 1400 & 1500X don't have that much of a performance difference, yes i know 1500X has more L3 cache but it wouldn't matter when coupled with a RX570!!?

thanks for correcting on the monitor, i thought the one one which i told had freesync..

For PSU what about Corsair VS450 or Antec VP450?

please suggest a case..

1500X would help in CPU intensive games , battlefield 1 multiplayer etc.. ..
i wanted to fit 1600 in your budget for longevity , but couldn't..

1400 is also good for most games , if you want to fit in hard disk, case within the budget . as you will be GPU limited

But I would advice against skimping out on PSU , .. but still if you absolutely must ...

But not VS450 and VP450P, they are fitted with entry level capacitors ,.. Plus Rx 570 is already a lot more power hungry.. The cheapest good PSU to be paired with Rx 570 type of card would be

Antec Vp550P ( get this model only , this model is different from VP450P ,VP500Pc , Vp600P.. those are lower quality ones) this would cost around 4k .. all other PSU's below that are a risky proposition with Rx 570 .. don't buy them ..

and after shutting down PC , make sure that you switch off the main plug/cut ac power as well with antec Psu

With seasonic you get 5 year warranty + fully japanese caps and a solid unit...
Antec Vp550p use to have 2 year warranty , confirm from them if it is 2 year or 3 year now , it is not clear

case - ask bssunilreaddy

Not enough for 1080p ultra. OP needs a GTX 1060 or RX 480 for that.

G4560 is 2C4T while R5 1400 is 4C8T, basically like an i7 3770 without iGPU at i5 prices.

Who cares ?? There is little difference between ultra and high..and for gaming 2c,4t is enough..

So i cannot skimp on PSU then, so i am only left with one option now...i have to buy a monitor later since there is no way i can fit it in my budget if i consider case and HDD to be fitted in..

BTW is it ok to use a RX570 with a 1366*768 res monitor?

for cabinet how is this?
CIRCLE MID TOWER CABINET (ATX) - CC 821 PRIME

looks like it has ample cooling with extra 120mm fans, i guess with stock AMD cooler this would help?

CPU - Ryzen 1400 - 12,000
PSU - Seasonic 520 - 5, 500
Ram - 8gb corsair - 4,300
Monitor - Lg Freesync - 9,000
Mobo - A320 asus - 5,300
GPU - Rx 570 - 12,000

total 48k .. you are left with 4k as your max budget was 52k
Use your old 500gb hard disk for now .. and buy new when you have the cash
Sell your rig as separate components on forums... or
if you have to sell your old rig as a complete setup locally , then get the cheapest 2nd hand hard disk and sell that off with that old rig ..

get a good case for Rs 3,200-3,500 and 600-700 rs for old hard disk to bundle with your old rig..

There is no certainty regarding GST .. tax rate may jump from 5 % right now to 18 % or 12 % from 1st july ..

so get the monitor ( big amount item ) and a good case now , be at low risk as dollar is also low right now + tax uncertainity .. and leave hard disk for future..

let sunil bro recommend a good case ..
